Embracing Childbirth Education classes with Shelly Taylor, RNC,BSN, CCCE
Some of the topics covered in this class include:
* What to expect during pregnancy (what is normal and what is not)
* Labor and delivery
*Non medical ways to get through labor (breathing & relaxation techniques)
*Cesarean Birth (c-section)
* Taking care of yourself and your new baby in the early days at home
The class also includes infant car seat installation, for which Shelly has been certified to offer by AAA (no extra fee) . ( A voucher will be given to parents who do not have car seat available at the time of the class and Shelly will make arrangements to meet up at a later date.) Class includes breaks and 30 minutes for lunch; please bring a bagged lunch. The studio is a "no shoe" space, so bring slippers or wear socks for comfort.
THE CHILDBIRTH ED CLASS IS OFFERED EVERY 3 MONTHS ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH FOLLOWED BY THE BREASTFEEDING CLASS. THE CHILDBIRTH ED CLASS RUNS FROM 9:30-3PM AND THE BREASTFEEDING CLASS WILL FOLLOW FROM 4-6 PM.
FEE INFORMATION: TAKE JUST THE CHILDBIRTH ED CLASS AND PAY $150
TAKE JUST THE BREASTFEEDING CLASS AND PAY $35
TAKE BOTH THE CHILDBIRTH ED AND BREASTFEEDING CLASS TOGETHER AND PAY $175
