Wondering if Mother's Embrace Yoga is only for moms-to-be? Here's the answer! We have something for everyone!
For those who are brand new to yoga, rejoining after being away for a long time or who are dealing with physical disabilities that make more challenging exercise options not an option, yoga is perfect!
Here is a detailed description of our classes:
GENTLE HATHA -Our entry level option for those who have not practiced yoga before, or those rejoining after being away for a long time is Gentle Hatha Yoga. This class is FOR LADIES ONLY, which allows us to offer a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere away from the gym setting. Lighting is anything but bright and there are no scents at the studio (out of respect for those with allergies).
Gentle Hatha can help improve sleep and flexiblity while improving our sense of wellbeing through release of endorphins. The classes include full instructions (beginners on up) and end with quiet meditation. EXCELLENT class for those dealing with perimenopause or menopause. Lower the stress level! Help your body to go through the changes gradually and gracefully.
Note: The Gentle Hatha class takes place on Monday night at 7 pm and Wednesday night at 5:30 pm.
VINYASA FLOW - While flow yoga can sound very challenging, this is a wonderful class that all levels of practitioners can enjoy! Modifications are key for beginners and April is very "hands on" when it comes to helping new students learn how to get the most out of the postures. This is not an interactive class but instead encourages students to go within and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. Give it a try! You will love this class and the teacher who offers it!
