Yoga for Moms-to-be


This safe, gentle, and modified form of stretching helps tone and strengthen the muscles that are used for delivery. Great for all stages of pregnancy, you will love this class and opportunity for networking with other pregnant women. All exercises are approved by the American College of OB/GYN and taught by a certified Prenatal Yoga specialist.  Exercise.. relaxation.. support.  The perfect setting for you to enjoy your pregnancy!

Our studio also offers Childbirth education and Breastfeeding for beginners classes. 

Also on our schedule are postnatal support groups and staff to assist with questions about breastfeeding once the baby comes.  All of the support that you could want or need is available in one place!

Gentle Hatha Yoga (non-pregnancy class)


Appropriate for beginners and up, this class focuses on breathing, stretching, and lots of relaxation. This is a great starting place for those with absolutely no experience with yoga or those who are easing their way back into exercise. Interactive and fun, we use light arm weights, straps, and yoga balls. It doesn't matter what size you are, you will feel comfortable in this class! THIS CLASS IS FOR WOMEN ONLY. 

 

GENTLE MIXED FLOW (KRIPALU STYLE) WITH PENNY

This class is our latest addition and is appropriate for all levels of students from brand new up to seasoned yogi.  A flow-style of yoga, This class is an excellent way to destress at the end of a long day.  Men and women welcome. 

 

Yoga for the Special Child® (non-pregnancy class)

Kasia Guzy, Certified Yoga for the Special Child instructor, is the first yoga teacher in CT to become certified in this very unique style of yoga.  Appropriate for children with any kind of physical or learning disabilities, Kasia limits her class size to 6 in order to guarantee personal attention for each child.  It is never too early to introduce yoga into a child's life.  Speak directly to Kasia for more details on this class and to arrange an evaluation for your child.  Call/text her at 203-278-1712 or email her at kasiaguzy@comcast.net
