Wondering if Mother's Embrace Yoga is only for moms-to-be? Here's the answer! We also offer Gentle Hatha Yoga classes for women, as a means to return to exercise safely post baby. These classes are also excellent for those of us rejoining the exercise scene after a long time away or ladies who are brand new to yoga.
Here is a detailed description of our classes:
GENTLE HATHA -Our entry level option for those who have not practiced yoga before, or those rejoining after being away for a long time is Gentle Hatha Yoga. This class is FOR LADIES ONLY and is interactive, which allows us to offer a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere away from the gym setting. (If you are looking for a quiet yoga class, this is not for you. ) Lighting is anything but bright and there are no scents at the studio (out of respect for those with allergies).
Gentle Hatha can help improve sleep and flexiblity while improving our sense of wellbeing through release of endorphins. The classes include full instructions (beginners on up) and end with quiet meditation. EXCELLENT class for those dealing with infertility, perimenopause or menopause. Lower the stress level! Will bring about positive changes to all!
This class is 60 mins long
Class fees: $10 for the first class as a new studio student; after that the drop-in fee is $15/class or we offer two class cards - 4 paid classes for $54 or 6 paid classes for $75. These cards expire in 6 months from the date of purchase and cannot be transferred to another student. We accept cash or personal check at the studio.

HATHA CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY FULL - SORRY - WE CANNOT ACCOMODATE DROP-INS OR NEW STUDENTS AT THIS TIME - there is space in the Mixed Level Kripalu.
