Mother's Embrace Yoga Studio in Shelton, Connecticut, has specialized in working with moms-to-be since 2005. In that time, we have expanded our services to now include not just prenatal yoga, but also childbirth education and breastfeeding classes, as well as CPR for infants and toddlers. We have three separate postnatal support groups to help make the "4th trimester" a little less stressful. Support without judgment is our goal.
We also offer classes for those who are no longer in the childbirth years. Check out our "Yoga Styles Offered" page for more details. We are proud to be offer many opportunities for women to meet and support each other through all phases of life.

Looking to attend your first class at MEY? Please text us at 203-414-2607 and check on space in your class of choice. We will do our best to accomodate you. Bring a yoga mat, bottle of water and dress for comfort. No need to pre-register for a class - everything will be done at the studio. First class fee is only $10 (personal check or cash only, please).

About the owner..
Linda B. Antignani, a certified Hatha & Prenatal Yoga specialist, as well as Yoga of the Heart therapist (cardiac & cancer yoga), founded Mother's Embrace Yoga Studio in 2005.
Linda's background includes double Prenatal/Postnatal Certifications (one from Classical Yoga - Jane Mackarness and one from Kripalu - Janice Clarfield.) She is also a certified yoga therapist in Yoga of the Heart - Nishala Joy Devi's program for cardiac & cancer yoga therapy.
Linda continues to make trips back to Kripalu to expand her yoga knowledge by studying with master teachers, She is married, lives in Stratford and has three children and two grandbabies.
