Mother's Embrace offers one Gentle Hatha Yoga class each week and these classes are geared towards beginners or new moms working their way back into physical activity. This class is also great for menopausal women, as well as those dealing with arthritis.
These classes are for those of us who are not pregnant and also include the use of accessories, such as chairs, light arm weights, wave boards and yoga balls.
This class is on hiatus (Summer of 2021)
CLASS FEES- $15 per class.
Please purchase class fee in advance of class - go to our Square store.
What to bring to class - a yoga mat, bottle of water and dress for comfort.

Mother's Embrace physical studio reopened on Sunday, June 28, 2020. The following guidelines are in place and we will need everyone on board. Our health and safety as we practice must be our number one priority.
* We are limiting class sizes to 8-10 attendees due to the Governor's social distancing guidelines. Please arrive approx 10 minutes prior to class beginning.
* PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the CT DPH, and effective 8/1/2021:
*If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask to class.
* If you are fully vaccinated, mask is optional.
*If classes are a mix of vaccinated & unvaccinated attendees, we ask that all students wear a mask.
These guidelines will be updated often as things are changing quickly. Please check back or text us for up to date info.
Thank you for your help in keeping everyone healthy.
*Students are bringing their own accessories, such as yoga mat, block, water bottle, etc. Please leave purses/backpacks in the car. **
*Our studio space is being sanitized prior to each class. We have also added extra air purifiers as well as ultrasonic UV light systems in the studio and in the bathrooms. We take our health and yours very seriously!
It is imperative that every one of us do our part to keep ourselves and our fellow yoga mates healthy but staying home if you are not feeling well, have a temp, etc. If in doubt, sit it out!

We no longer offer virtual prenatal classes.
NOTE- There will be no classes held on 10/3, 10/6 or 10/17/21.
Mommy's Time resumes LIVE at the studio! Non-crawling

Offered on Thursdays at 9:30 am, this group is a wonderful way to meet other new moms and get a light stretch. Babies up to 6 months are welcome to join us. $12/class- purchase in advance on the Square store to reserve your spot. Resumes in studio on 7/11/21.
*LUNACHICKS yoga & sharing class
Offered on the last Sunday of the month at 10:45 am, this class consists of 30 minutes of yoga followed by 30-40 minutes of sharing. Moms only at this one! $12/mom - Spots must be purchased in advance on the Square store. We cannot accommodate drop ins.
Mother's Embrace Yoga
providing tools to navigate pregnancy into postpartum through education, gentle yoga and support. Honored to have been helping moms work towards a positive, healthy birth experience since 2005.
We offer yoga classes specifically for moms-to-be with all of the modifications necessary to be safe yet effective. Taught by a Yoga Teacher with two certifications in Prenatal Yoga who is also a mom of 3, these classes are geared towards strengthening the childbirth muscles along with relieving some of the aches and pains that come along with pregnancy. Sciatica, round ligament pain, sacroiliac joint pain, carpal tunnel and many more pregnancy issues are helped by gentle stretching and breathing.
Another benefit of the prenatal classes is the opportunity to meet other expectant moms and create community.
NOTE-These classes are interactive and supportive. Educational information is discussed and students are encouraged to share during the class. All topics are welcome and friendships develop! Stretch, learn and relax with other pregnant ladies in a laid back, welcoming environment. PERFECT FOR ANXIOUS MOMS TO BE!
